meet the maker
Dinner Party Research is the living archive of one person’s curiosity and the many forms it takes. Created by Shana, it began as an experiment in creative expression and has grown into a home for objects, ideas, rituals, and seasonal tea blends.
This project is rooted in a belief that everything is worth noticing: a petal, a scent, a feeling at the edge of language. That beauty can be functional. That a cup of tea can be a portal, or a hypothesis.
For the past six years, Shana has farmed across Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina, tending to vegetables, herbs, and flowers on small organic farms. That work (hands in the soil, rhythms of seasons, close study of plants) is foundational to Dinner Party Research. It’s where observation meets ritual, and where her love of form and function first began to intertwine.
Dinner Party Research shapeshifts. Sometimes it’s a candle. Sometimes a blend of red rooibos and cornflower. It's slow and impulsive, deliberate and intuitive. A collection in motion.
Right now, this is a place to find handmade teas and sourced objects that feel like invitations to pause, to play, to pay attention. Someday, it might become a studio or a shop or something else entirely.
Welcome. Stay as long as you’d like.
